The Devotee brings the willingness to fully inhabit the role the dynamic calls for, and that takes more self-knowledge than most people have. They know their own responses well, communicate them clearly before the scene begins, and stay present in a way that most people are not. The aftercare conversation is as important to them as the scene itself, because they take the whole encounter seriously.
